Gender Studies is a key lens for understanding oneself and organizing global relationships. Students explore intersections of gender with class, race, ethnicity, nationality, sexuality, age, ability, and Indigeneity, emphasizing social justice and equity while critically analyzing local and global challenges. Combining Women and Gender Studies with fields like Communication Studies, Sociology, or Global Studies provides a comprehensive understanding of social justice and equity, cultivating versatile skills for careers in public and private sectors.
