The Master of Professional Studies in Digital Media provides students with a hands-on, collaborative opportunity to explore core creative concepts and innovative ideas in the field of digital media. Students enrolled in the Master of Professional Studies in Digital Media develop their skills and expertise while becoming familiar with both industry-standard and emerging technologies. The curriculum includes core courses, concentration electives, and a final project. The core coursework establishes a foundation for developing, marketing, and managing content-rich experiences, while the elective options allow students to strengthen their abilities in specialized areas of digital media. For the final project, each student works with a faculty advisor—either pursuing an individual proposal or collaborating with a small team—to produce a project that demonstrates their capabilities. The program is offered under the written consent of the Minister, effective August 29, 2025, following a quality assessment process that confirmed it meets the criteria established by the Minister. Prospective students are responsible for determining whether the program and degree align with their individual needs, including suitability for potential employers, professional licensing bodies, or other educational institutions. The program includes four foundation courses that emphasize visual communications, programming fundamentals, and web creation, enabling students to connect their existing backgrounds to a new digital media pathway. Participants also complete an in-depth capstone project under the guidance of a faculty advisor, allowing them to apply their developing skills in a practical context. Additionally, the cohort-based format is designed to strengthen collaboration and expand networking opportunities among students.
