University Pathways Fast Track at RMIT UP is an accelerated pathway designed for high-achieving international students, preparing them for university in half the time of a Foundation Studies course. Delivered over one semester by RMIT UP (CRICOS provider number: 01912G), a fully owned entity of RMIT University, the program equips students with the knowledge, skills and confidence needed for future academic success.

Located in the heart of Melbourne, RMIT UP’s specialist staff support students throughout their journey, while providing opportunities to build global and social networks that contribute to success at RMIT and beyond.

To ensure students get the best start to their studies, RMIT offers careers counselling, as well as academic and welfare support services that can be accessed flexibly.

University Pathways Fast Track features focused, discipline-based streams, allowing students to align their studies with their interests and goals. Available streams include STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics), Art, Design and Architecture, Business, and Communication and Social Context.

Prospective students are encouraged to contact an RMIT international advisor for assistance with their application and to determine the most suitable study option.

Bachelor of Engineering - Aerospace Engineering (Honours) (BH078P23) (110990H) The RMIT Bachelor of Engineering (Aerospace Engineering) (Honours) equips students with the skills to design aircraft and spacecraft, develop propulsion systems, research new materials, test engines, develop rockets, and plan maintenance programs. The program provides an internationally recognised qualification and builds specialist expertise in analysing, designing, and operating advanced aeronautical and astronautical systems.

Students study a broad range of areas including aerodynamics, aerospace materials and structures, aerospace systems, design, dynamics and control, thermodynamics, and propulsion. Minor options in Aircraft and Spacecraft Technologies allow students to tailor their studies to their interests and enhance career opportunities.

Sustainability is embedded throughout the degree, reflecting the growing demand for long-term engineering solutions and helping students understand the broader social impact of the profession. The program also includes opportunities to apply learning in real-world contexts through capstone projects, industry placements, and participation in the Engineers Without Borders Challenge.
