Program Description The Phoenix Diploma of Business offers students the opportunity to study in a unique, specialised, direct entry pathway into second year University (Undergraduate Programs) in Australia. On successful completion of the Diploma of Business (University Pathway stream), students are equipped with the skills and knowledge required to transfer to their relevant undergraduate program with a full year of advanced standing at Curtin University, The University of Western Australia, Edith Cowan University, Murdoch University and Central Queensland University.

This course is ideal for students unable to meet the academic entry requirements for Higher Education as an alternative, affordable and effective pathway to university. Phoenix Academy strives for innovative and modern delivery methods in all programs, therefore, the School of Business programs are delivered via the ‘Block Model’ method enabling students to focus on one subject at a time instead of juggling multiple subjects and assessments in one term.

Students in this program will have direct entry into the second year of the Bachelor of Commerce at Edith Cowan University. Students graduate not only job ready but industry ready, with practical work based industry experience, networking opportunities and career portfolio development, equipping them with the skills to succeed in a range of business careers.

The course offers fourteen majors across a broad range of disciplines, all created in consultation with industry, with many being professionally accredited and recognised with the relevant industry bodies. Students can choose up to two majors, a major and a minor, or, a major and a range of electives providing great flexibility in the course and giving students the opportunity to tailor their degree to suit their career aspirations.

Students are equipped with the theory, practical experience and employability skills, including the leadership, teamwork, critical thinking, and communication and problemsolving skills.
