San Mateo Colleges of Silicon Valley - Cañada College
Это описание есть только на английском языке.
Economics is the study of production, consumption, and allocation decisions under conditions of scarcity. Economics has two sub-disciplines: Macroeconomics and Microeconomics. Macroeconomics looks at the performance of the economy as a whole. Students study topics such as economic growth, inflation, changes in employment and unemployment, trade performance with other countries, and the relative success or failure of government economic policies and the policies made by the Federal Reserve. Microeconomics looks at economics at the level of individual consumers, groups of consumers, or firms. The general concern of microeconomics is the efficient allocation of scarce resources between alternative uses. Microeconomics looks at the determination of price through the optimizing behavior of consumers and firms; with consumers seeking to maximize happiness and firms, profit.
Optional Transfer
San Mateo - Cañada College is partnered with various universities and colleges to give interested applicants the opportunity to transfer to a four-year college or university after completing their associates degree or to transfer during their associates degree. Interested applicants should indicate their interest on the application form along with their intended partner university. San Mateo will provide students with the transfer requirements needed to guarantee a transfer. They still need to apply to the university during the regular period, which is usually one year in advance of the start date.
