The aviation industry is growing, and skilled professionals are in high demand. Students can learn to troubleshoot vital aircraft components and systems, including piston and turbine engines, electrical systems, hydraulics, and navigation and communication systems. Students will study the challenging complexities of fixed and rotary wing aircraft while gaining the theoretical knowledge they need for apprenticeship employment. This program is approved by Transport Canada.

Students will learn: • Fixed wing and rotary wing aerodynamics • Turbine and reciprocating engine theory and maintenance • Aircraft inspection, maintenance, and troubleshooting • Electrical and avionics systems operation and troubleshooting • Aircraft metal and composite inspection and repair

Please note: Graduates receive 18 months of accreditation towards a Transport Canada-issued Aircraft Maintenance Engineer's Licence, Category M.
