Vocational Pathway: Certificate IV in Patisserie (094259F) + Diploma of Hospitality Management (090987F) - Ryde

TAFE NSW's Certificate IV in Patisserie enables students to learn from experienced teaching staff who will share years of knowledge and patisserie techniques to prepare them for a real work environment. Through both theory and practical learning, they gain a stronger understanding of topics such as restaurant desserts, modern gateaux, petit fours and sustainable practices.

As part of their training and assessment students will need to complete at least 24 supervisory shifts which will enhance their skills. A majority of this will be conducted during class sessions, however, it is also recommend that they seek paid employment to assist them to successfully complete this assessment requirement.

TAFE NSW's Diploma of Hospitality Management gives learners the advanced skills and knowledge they need to succeed in a supervisory or management role in the hospitality industry. This course combines practical skills with contextualised business knowledge so that they can thrive in this fast-paced global industry.
