University Pathways Fast Track at RMIT UP is an accelerated pathway designed for high-achieving international students, preparing them for university in half the time of a Foundation Studies course. Delivered over one semester by RMIT UP (CRICOS provider number: 01912G), a fully owned entity of RMIT University, the program equips students with the knowledge, skills and confidence needed for future academic success.

Located in the heart of Melbourne, RMIT UP’s specialist staff support students throughout their journey, while providing opportunities to build global and social networks that contribute to success at RMIT and beyond.

To ensure students get the best start to their studies, RMIT offers careers counselling, as well as academic and welfare support services that can be accessed flexibly.

University Pathways Fast Track features focused, discipline-based streams, allowing students to align their studies with their interests and goals. Available streams include STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics), Art, Design and Architecture, Business, and Communication and Social Context.

Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) (BH126) (0100714) The RMIT Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) program covers fundamental science, mathematics, design, and professional practice concepts in engineering. Students gain a broad range of engineering skills and knowledge, and through elective subjects are exposed to a variety of specialisations.

After the first year of study, students can choose a branch of engineering to explore in more depth, including aerospace engineering, biomedical engineering, chemical engineering, civil and infrastructure engineering, electrical engineering, electronic and computer systems engineering, environmental engineering, mechanical engineering, advanced manufacturing and mechatronics engineering, and mechatronics engineering.
