Queen’s University Bachelor of Education (Concurrent) prepares secondary school graduates to become educators and qualify for Ontario College of Teachers certification.

Bachelor of Education • Two degrees at the same time: Bachelor’s in Arts and a Bachelor of Education. • Students will choose a concentration in Year 5, such as Teaching At-Risk Children or Adolescents, International Education, Exceptional Learners, Arts in Education, Drama in Society, Assessment and Evaluation, etc. Students may instead choose to apply to a Program Track. The Program Tracks are Aboriginal Teacher Education, Artist in Community Education, and Outdoor Experiential Education.

Bachelor of Science (Honours) - Statistics Mathematicians seek out patterns, construct rigorous arguments, articulate assumptions, appreciate the value of a precise definition, analyze mathematical models, and create beautiful structures. Statisticians produce trustworthy data, extract meaning and draw practical conclusions from data, test conjectures, provide mathematical evidence, and critique the reasoning of others. As a consequence, quantitative expertise is in high demand on the job market. Moreover, rankings of occupations invariably list multiple careers in mathematics and statistics among the very best.

Statistics is the entire science of decision making in the face of uncertainty. It is the mathematical and computational study of randomness and variability of data. It is used in and makes significant impact on any field where data is collected.
