The Photography course is perfect for students who want to develop their technical and practical understanding and work in professional photography. They will be taught and mentored by industry experts who are currently working within many sectors of the industry including photojournalism, commercial, documentary and mobile photography.

Students will undertake fundamental units in photographic technologies, portraiture, commercial photography, post-production, mobile photography, documentary, photojournalism, alongside units in media platforms and creative entrepreneurship.

Collarts offers students a variety of real-life industry experiences so that they are career-ready when they graduate. With the opportunity to create a capstone project and undertake industry placement, students will leave the course with a well-rounded understanding of the photographic industry, both in Australia and overseas.
