The Master of Food, Agriculture and Resource Economics (MFARE) is a professional graduate program designed to develop expertise in economic, policy, and business analysis within today’s complex global environment. Students gain strong skills in economic and quantitative analysis to address policy and business challenges, and they apply this knowledge to real-world issues affecting the agri-food and natural resource sectors.
This program features core courses in economic and quantitative analysis, complemented by a range of applied courses that allow students to tailor their studies to their specific interests. Students can choose to apply their skills through a major research paper or by completing an internship with a private- or public-sector organization, working on a consultancy project for a real-world client. The program also offers two areas of specialization: Agri-Food Sector and Policy Analysis and Management Analysis.
