This program consists of a pathway program offered by StudyGroup at the International Study Centre at the University of Sussex followed by entry into a university program offered at the University of Sussex. In the Pre-Master's programme, you will study courses related to your intended field of study alongside English to develop and enhance your skills as a student. Advancement into your intended program depends upon the successful completion of the pathway program.

The Pre-Masters in Business, Media and Social Sciences, provides a route to a variety of postgraduate degrees at the University of Sussex. English language and career skills are combined with subject-specific modules such as social sciences, cultural studies, a variety of business skills like accounting and business management to provide you with a strong foundation for your chosen business, media and social sciences degree.

Through the Master of Arts in International Relations, you’ll look at the exciting and troubling times we live in as a starting point. You’ll then critically examine the theory and the history of international relations. You’ll examine a wide range of issues relevant to students from a diverse range of backgrounds.

You’ll study at the centre of theoretical innovation on international politics. We host the specialised: • Centre for Advanced International Theory

• Sussex Centre for Conflict and Security Research • Centre for Global Political Economy.

Our faculty also contributes to and/or leads School- and University-wide centres such as the Centre for Global Health Policy, the Sussex Rights and Justice Research Centre, and the Centre for Colonial and Postcolonial Studies.
