In the Bachelor of 3D Animation program, students will learn how to blur the line between the real world and make believe through high-quality 3D animations. They will create digitally-enhanced 3D visual effects at the forefront of innovation in the creative media, games, film and animation industries.

Students will discover how to design, render and model 3D characters, environments and worlds, using professional equipment, contemporary software, and processes used in industry. Students also learn design, bio-mechanics, movement, rigging, surfacing, light and color theory, and the principles of animation.

At the completion of this course, students will be able to: • Integrate professional acumen, adaptation, communication, collaboration and alignment with industry-standard procedures to augment the creation of digital effects, animation or media projects. • Incorporate broad theoretical, technical and procedural knowledge into the creation of professional quality and commercially viable digital effects, media or animations. • Analyze complex problems, applying creativity and critical thinking to plan and implement appropriate solutions. • Investigate, analyze and experiment with current and emerging technologies to enhance and inform the creation of contemporary digital effects, media or animations. • Construct and execute digital effects, media or animation in line with professional industry standards, demonstrating responsible resource management, defined timelines and clear deliverables. • Analyze, evaluate and synthesize ethical considerations and cultural awareness in the composition and development of digital effects, media or animation content. • Research and analyze the symbiosis between digital media, culture and society, producing artefacts that effectively convey meaning, entertain, educate or provide solutions to a target audience. • Present ideas precisely and persuasively, utilizing audience-relevant modes of communication and appropriate visual supports. • Utilize self-reflection, professional feedback, networking and personal development strategies to ensure continuous professional growth. • Academy of Interactive Technology is offering a 15% to 30% scholarship to ApplyBoard students for all the three intakes of the year 2024. • Eligible Nationalities: All • Nationality exemptions: N/A • If any applications comes on 31st August for the Feb 2024 intake, it will be processed in the next 24-48 hours which means the scholarship amount will be applied to those applications. • The scholarship amount will come into effect starting from 9,00 am AEST, Friday 01.09.2023. • For Middle east the scholarship slab is 25%-25%-25%
