Master of Science - Machine Learning in Science

The development and utilization of machine learning (ML) and artificial intelligence (AI) have brought about a revolution in various fields such as computer vision, speech recognition, and language processing.

Throughout this course, individuals will gain knowledge on how to implement ML and AI techniques in solving real scientific issues. This will aid in the enhancement of essential skills, thereby increasing their chances of employability in a rapidly expanding domain.

Upon completion of this course, individuals will acquire the ability to:

Recognize and utilize relevant computational tools and programming techniques

Apply statistical and physical principles to deconstruct algorithms and elucidate their functionality

Devise strategies for implementing machine learning in the analysis of scientific data sets

Furthermore, individuals will develop a wide range of transferable skills, including communication, critical thinking, and problem-solving. Former students of this course have engaged in paid part-time internships with external collaborators.
