University Pathways Fast Track at RMIT UP is an accelerated pathway designed for high-achieving international students, preparing them for university in half the time of a Foundation Studies course. Delivered over one semester by RMIT UP (CRICOS provider number: 01912G), a fully owned entity of RMIT University, the program equips students with the knowledge, skills and confidence needed for future academic success.

Located in the heart of Melbourne, RMIT UP’s specialist staff support students throughout their journey, while providing opportunities to build global and social networks that contribute to success at RMIT and beyond.

To ensure students get the best start to their studies, RMIT offers careers counselling, as well as academic and welfare support services that can be accessed flexibly.

University Pathways Fast Track features focused, discipline-based streams, allowing students to align their studies with their interests and goals. Available streams include STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics), Art, Design and Architecture, Business, and Communication and Social Context.

Advanced University Diploma - Engineering - Mechanical (C6186) (112017D) The RMIT Advanced Diploma of Engineering Technology (Mechanical) equips students with the theoretical and practical skills required to work as technical officers or engineering supervisors in the mechanical and manufacturing industries. The program develops both technical and managerial capabilities, preparing graduates to work across small, medium, and large organisations, as well as within defence-related roles.

Students gain an understanding of mechanical engineering principles and their application in designing, improving, and building devices, systems, and machines. This diverse field focuses on solving complex problems across a wide range of industrial sectors and within broader society.
