Master of Science - Building Information Modelling and Project Collaboration

The MSc Building Information Modelling (BIM) and Project Collaboration is a professionally accredited course recognised by the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS), the Chartered Institute of Architectural Technologists (CIAT) and the Chartered Institute of Building (CIOB). Delivered at one of only four CIAT Centres of Excellence in the UK, the programme is specifically designed for architects, architectural technologists, design and project managers, civil and structural engineers, surveyors and other construction professionals with a strong interest in BIM. The course focuses on delivering greater value through integrated design and effective project collaboration, drawing on extensive industrial links and the expertise of research-active, highly experienced staff. The programme’s CIAT accreditation confirms that it has been assessed against the Institute’s requirements for content, structure and resources. CIAT is a global professional body representing around 10,000 members across architectural technology education and practice. Students benefit from free CIAT student membership during the course, providing access to professional resources to support development and study. On graduation, eligibility is provided to apply for Associate Membership (ACIAT), along with exemptions against the educational standards of the MCIAT Professional Assessment when progressing towards Chartered Architectural Technologist (MCIAT) status.
