University Pathways Fast Track at RMIT UP is an accelerated pathway designed for high-achieving international students, preparing them for university in half the time of a Foundation Studies course. Delivered over one semester by RMIT UP (CRICOS provider number: 01912G), a fully owned entity of RMIT University, the program equips students with the knowledge, skills and confidence needed for future academic success.

Located in the heart of Melbourne, RMIT UP’s specialist staff support students throughout their journey, while providing opportunities to build global and social networks that contribute to success at RMIT and beyond.

To ensure students get the best start to their studies, RMIT offers careers counselling, as well as academic and welfare support services that can be accessed flexibly.

University Pathways Fast Track features focused, discipline-based streams, allowing students to align their studies with their interests and goals. Available streams include STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics), Art, Design and Architecture, Business, and Communication and Social Context.

Double Degree - Bachelor of Engineering - Mechanical Engineering (Honours) & Bachelor of Business (BH089MEH23) (111185G) The RMIT Bachelor of Engineering (Mechanical Engineering) (Honours) / Bachelor of Business double degree prepares students for entrepreneurial and managerial roles across a wide range of industries. The program is designed to support career progression into positions of responsibility and leadership, recognising that many engineers move into management roles early in their careers.

The industry-accredited mechanical engineering component equips students with the skills to plan, implement, and manage engineering projects and developments across diverse sectors. Students explore areas such as mechatronics, mechanics, automotive engineering, renewable energy, fluid dynamics, and computer-aided design, while the business component strengthens their capability in management and decision-making.
