In the T.J. Smull College of Engineering, students will gain a solid foundation in the computer engineering field. They’ll take courses in operating systems, embedded systems and computer architecture. If they are passionate about a particular subject – like computer networks, computer security or robotics – they can choose from a variety of upper-level elective courses in these areas. This academic program is rigorous. Students should expect to work hard and be challenged. However, it offers a supportive and collaborative environment. The professors and fellow students in the college will become friends and family. Students will have the opportunity to connect with ONU alumni and they will help them succeed and open doors for them. Upon graduation, students will be ready for whatever the future holds, whether it’s working in computer security, designing software and hardware, or starting their own company!
