Foundation Studies provides students with the knowledge, skills and confidence they need for their future academic success.

The university provides opportunities to develop students' global and social network, setting them up for success at the Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology and into the future.
To ensure students get the best start to their studies, the Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology has invested in careers counselling, academic and welfare support for international students to access when and where it suits them.
Bachelor of Software Engineering (BP096P21) (103231F0): With excellent communication skills, students will become the managerial link between a business and its software. They will learn to design, code, test and manage large and complex systems.
Working within complex development environments, operating systems, communications, web software, databases and applications, students will undertake studies in all facets of the software engineering process.
This degree focuses on the software development life cycle but goes beyond programming to assess and meet customer needs, and to design and test software.
Developing software solutions often involves assembling extensive amounts of code into working applications, and updating and fixing problems in existing software.
Please note that applicants from some countries will be required to pay a non-refundable application fee. The fee will go towards the tuition deposit for any students who enroll.
