Bachelor of Arts (Honours) - Media and Television Production

University of Chester - Creative Campus, Kingsway

What you will study

Program Description This Media and Television Production course will prepare students for a career in the creative industries and beyond. Whilst there is a real focus on practice on this course, this is underpinned by a critical understanding of the media industry, about its practices and protocols and about its organisation and regulation. Students are encouraged to develop and pursue their particular media and TV interests throughout their course. In the third year, students will work independently on a large-scale practical or written project, which will enable them to explore a particular aspect of media which most interests them. This could take the form of a television documentary or podcast, or could be a written dissertation exploring a current key issue in media.
