3-Term Pathway - Pre-Masters Education, Media and Social Sciences - Progress to Master of Arts - Music Performance: Piano Studies

The University of York International Pathway College is part of the University of York, and offers pathway courses to prepare students for a bachelor’s or master’s degree.

MA in Music Performance: Piano Studies intends to strengthen students playing and theoretical knowledge through intensive piano-based study.

Students will cover a variety of keyboard music from the early Baroque period to the present day, developing their interpretation through workshops and masterclasses, and learning to play different kinds of repertoire with historical understanding. This includes the chance to work with historical instruments such as harpsichord, clavichord and fortepiano.
