Overview

The postgraduate Aerospace Engineering degree focuses on meeting skills gaps within the aerospace industry. The course develops skills in the design, development, testing and production of flying vehicles.

UCLAN has collaborated with renowned industry links to help design this practical course. Students will learn about core aerospace engineering concepts including: • System architecture • Structures • Propulsion • Avionic systems • Fight dynamics • Engineering processes • Computer aided design (CAD)

The modules provide hands-on experience and learning. They are adapted to new emerging technologies within the industry.

There is also the option to gain hands-on practical experience through industrial placement.

Open completion of this degree students will be able to solve complex, real-world engineering problems with autonomy. The course is ideal for those wanting to start or develop their career by developing key skills in leadership, analysis and team working.
