Master of Science - Clinical Science with Immunopathology

The MSc Clinical Science with Immunopathology at the University of West London aims to train students as competent clinical scientists.

As well as developing knowledge to improve patient care in specific clinical science contexts, the course focuses on immunopathology, offering comprehensive coverage of the mechanisms, diagnosis and treatment of immune diseases.

Delivered by leading academics in the field, the curriculum enables students to understand and potentially apply the latest developments in immunopathology, as well as learn the biological methods used in diagnostic and therapeutic immunology.

Upon completion of the course, students will be able to:

• collect, analyse and provide expert interpretation of clinical and specialist scientific data • make key judgements and decisions about complex facts and clinical situations • communicate scientific and clinical information to ensure the benefits to patients are maximised and risks are minimised

Concluding with a research project on a chosen topic in immunopathology, the course equips students with the knowledge and skills required to work as clinical scientists specialising in immunopathology.
