Overview
The Bachelor of Science in Health Science program at Wichita State University provides a foundation in liberal arts and sciences, along with a core health sciences curriculum. Students will develop a broad understanding of social and scientific principles, obtain a clinical foundation, and explore political, legal, social, multicultural, and ethical issues in healthcare.
Students in this program will expand interdisciplinary understanding and collaboration among the health professions. Students also learn how to apply scientific knowledge, humanistic values, critical analysis, and a systematic approach to solving problems.
Students focus in the basic sciences during the first two years of the program, followed by more focused study in the health sciences during the last two years.
