What you will study

This International Foundation Year provides international students with preparation for the BSc (Hons) Biochemistry degree. Students build foundational knowledge in health and life sciences while developing academic writing, research, communication, critical thinking, scientific reasoning and independent learning skills. The programme also helps students become familiar with UK university teaching and assessment methods. Successful completion allows progression to undergraduate Biochemistry, where students can study the chemical and biological processes that underpin life, including cells, molecules and metabolism.
