The BSc (Hons) Accounting and Finance with Placement Year at Derby is accredited by the European Foundation for Management Development (EFMD) and provides a fast-track route to professional body membership. By selecting relevant modules, students are eligible to apply for all nine maximum exemptions offered by ACCA, as well as exemptions from CIMA, ICAEW, CPA Australia, and AIA qualifications. Through a partnership with the international accountancy firm Mazars, the programme offers the Mazars Accelerate Pathway (MAP), which provides guaranteed, paid student placements for a select number of students, delivering valuable professional experience.
