Bachelor of Arts (Honours) - Film and Media Studies

University of Chester - Creative Campus, Kingsway

What you will study

Program Description This course is for students who have a passion for watching and discussing film and for consuming and analysing the media, in all of its many forms. Students look at the way media is constructed for particular audiences, whether that’s a feature film, podcast or television programme. Critical approaches to analysing media and film are also key, including how to contextualise the importance and impact of these creative industries historically, politically and culturally. Projects throughout the three years also enable students to develop technical, creative and employability skills in production, from audio and video recording to scriptwriting and film reviewing.
