What you will study

The Bachelor of Law in Individual Law has been designed to allow students to engage with the numerous aspects of law, including both the theoretical underpinning as well as practical execution and critical analysis of the law. The University of Gloucestershire commitment to developing the skills as well intellectual ability of the University's students leads to high levels of student satisfaction with the program.

The Individual Rights pathway will enable learners to tailor their studies to obtain specialist knowledge on how different areas of the law ensure and uphold the rights of individuals. They will also have the opportunity undertake an extended piece of research via the dissertation module on a self-selected rights-based topic. By the end of this course, students will be able to make an informed assessment of how far the law is able to protect the individual rights of citizens, in both a private and public sphere.
