What you will study
In the Pre-Health Sciences Pathway to Certificates and Diplomas program, student will enhance the science, writing, and math skills while preparing for careers in biotechnology, pharmacy technician, practical nursing, Chinese medicine, and paramedicine. In this program student will: • build foundational skills for success in health sciences, including math, critical thinking, and problem solving, with hands-on lab experience • earn science credits in biology, anatomy, chemistry, and physics • improve academic skills for future studies • participate in lab teams and conduct experiments from your first semester
Explore health sciences careers by connecting with experts and attending pathway events. This will also learn to analyze situations from various perspectives to foster personal and social responsibility as a citizen and allied health professional. School also offers: • dry and wet lab experience in specialized science labs • guest speakers and events for career insights in health and sciences • student advising support for each student
