What you will study
This course will develop the skills students will need to work in web development and associated technologies. Students will be taught by industry-experienced College lecturers and learn a diverse range of knowledge in; Hypertext Mark-up Language (HTML), Cascading Style Sheets (CSS), JavaScript, Structured Query Language (SQL), Content Management System (CMS) Technologies, Web Graphics, User Interface (UI), PHP (Hypertext Pre-processor), App Development and Social Media.
This is a hands-on and practical course that will enhance students' employability skills. Edinburgh College has strong industry connections with Edinburgh based digital companies. These companies can provide expert advice, guidance and placement opportunities. This course offers students an up-to-date award that reflects recent developments within the web design and development sector.
