University Pathways Fast Track at RMIT UP is an accelerated pathway designed for high-achieving international students, preparing them for university in half the time of a Foundation Studies course. Delivered over one semester by RMIT UP (CRICOS provider number: 01912G), a fully owned entity of RMIT University, the program equips students with the knowledge, skills and confidence needed for future academic success.

Located in the heart of Melbourne, RMIT UP’s specialist staff support students throughout their journey, while providing opportunities to build global and social networks that contribute to success at RMIT and beyond.

To ensure students get the best start to their studies, RMIT offers careers counselling, as well as academic and welfare support services that can be accessed flexibly.

University Pathways Fast Track features focused, discipline-based streams, allowing students to align their studies with their interests and goals. Available streams include STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics), Art, Design and Architecture, Business, and Communication and Social Context.

Associate Degree - Interior Decoration and Design (AD020) (078836M) RMIT’s Associate Degree in Interior Decoration and Design is a dynamic, industry-relevant program that prepares students for careers in interior design and decoration.

The degree combines practical and theoretical approaches to decoration and design, enabling students to develop innovative interior concepts and proposals across a range of project types. A strong emphasis is placed on sustainable practices in the planning and specification of interior environments.

Students build expertise in the use of materials and surface treatments, furnishings, colour and lighting to create functional and visually engaging spaces for both residential and commercial contexts.

Industry-connected projects provide opportunities to work with professionals, helping students gain insight into vocational roles and develop real-world experience in the field.
