2-Semester Pathway - International Foundation Year - Business, Film and Media - Transfer to Bachelor of Arts (Honours) - International Development

Program Description This program consists of a pathway program offered by StudyGroup at the International Study Centre at the University of Sussex followed by entry into a university program offered at the University of Sussex. In your International Foundation Year, you will study courses related to your intended field of study alongside English to develop and enhance your skills as a student. Advancement into your intended program depends upon the successful completion of the pathway program.

The International Foundation Year in Business, Media and Social Sciences will familiarize you with a wide area of study for your intended degree. You will develop your critical thinking skills, creativity, analytical and team working skills, providing you with the most crucial skills required as a successful graduate.

Study at the world’s highest ranked university for the study of Development Studies. You’ll learn from experts who are making a difference across the world, in topics ranging from human rights to the environment.

You’ll have the opportunity to expand your knowledge with a range of activities beyond the curriculum. From joining the Sussex International Development Society to participating in student-organised seminars and film series, along with attending Sussex Development Lectures or volunteering, there are lots of ways to get involved.
