Master of Science - Health Informatics

The MSc Health Informatics at the University of West London has been structured to reflect the needs of the modern healthcare sector, enabling students to develop a professional understanding of how data, information, knowledge and technology are used in healthcare.

Students will study healthcare information systems, knowledge and data management, as well as leadership and management skills.

The course develops transferable skills that can be applied in healthcare and beyond, including big data integration, cloud computing and cyber security.

The dissertation provides an opportunity for students to focus on a specific area of interest and apply their learning in a practical context.

Throughout the course, students are supported by experienced tutors and have access to high-quality facilities such as PC and Mac suites, a Robotics lab and a Digital Futures Lab.
