What you will study
The Bachelor of Arts in Dance is a unique degree that offers specialist vocational and academic training across a variety of dance genres. The modules in the course are designed to develop students' technical, performance, choreographic and teaching skills, whilst encouraging them to gain a strong sense of who they are as an artist and which area of dance they are passionate to pursue as a career – whether that be performing, creating, teaching or all three.
By the time students graduate, the University of Gloucestershire want them to leave University as well-rounded, versatile dancers who feel confident and equipped with the knowledge of a range of genres that support their professional practice. The versatility of the University's team of lecturers allows them to deliver a wide range of these specialist areas to the highest of standards.
