Overview
With more data generated every day, businesses now have the ability to leverage data to make informed decisions. The MSc Management with Data Analytics develops future leaders who can bring data skills and insights to their profession. It prepares graduates for the management level positions the University expect them to achieve, along with a solid understanding of how to interpret data and communicate insights with visualisation tools. The ability to use data that can manage and drive a business forward is crucial in a modern organisation. The programme has been developed to help students gain a core understanding of modern management theories while learning how to apply these to practical management activities. Students will benefit from an integrated academic and professional education experience. Practical learning will enable them to critically analyse complex situations using a range of data analytics tools and data visualisation techniques. These important skills will help students to influence and drive the business decision-making process. Support from the dedicated Careers team is available during and after students' course to get them career-ready. The PDP programme can contribute to students' success at finding jobs and Graduate visa opportunities. By the end of their academic study, students will have developed employability skills, ready for the final six-month period of Professional Development Planning - this may include projects, voluntary work, a placement or an internship.
