Undergraduate Foundation Program + Bachelor of Science - Biology - Ecology/Evolutionary Biology

Undergraduate Foundation Program WSU’s Undergraduate Foundation program provides additional academic and/or English language support and personalized advising to help students smoothly transition to full university study. Students are unconditionally admitted to the university and graduate in the same amount of time as direct-entry students – they are just provided with additional support courses. Bachelor of Science - Biology - Ecology/Evolutionary Biology Ecology and evolutionary biology, a specialization area in the biology major, provides a broad ecological understanding that can be applied to fields such as environmental and wildlife biology. The biology major provides a strong background in the chemical and cellular basis of life and its many levels of organization, from molecular to ecosystem. A specialization in ecology and evolutionary biology focuses the biology degree and gives students the flexibility to study the topics that interest them the most. Inheritance, molecular genetics, the biology of populations, behavior, the flow of energy in living systems, and evolutionary and ecological relationships are among the topics students could study in depth.
