Master of Arts - Social Work

The course provides students with extensive practical experience through work placements, allowing them to apply theoretical knowledge in real-world settings. Approved by Social Work England, the programme equips students with the skills and understanding required to work as qualified social workers across a variety of professional environments. Students may also be eligible for bursaries from the Department of Health, which can support tuition fees and travel expenses related to placements.

The course includes 170 days of placement experience, split between 80 days during stage one and 90 days in stage two.
