The Bachelor of Applied Business (Entertainment Management) program is ideal for students who dream of a career as an Artist Manager, Tour Manager, Event Manager, Festival Organizer, Booking Agent, Publicist, Venue Manager or for those who want to work at a record label in A&R, Marketing or Publicity.

The Entertainment Management degree is ideal for students wanting to work in the business and management side of the music and entertainment industries.

Students will be taught and mentored by industry experts who are currently working within many sectors of the industry including management, publicity, music festivals, touring companies and record labels. With a focus on the logistical side of the creative industries, they will undertake fundamental units such as business strategy and law, marketing, economics, finance, publicity, music publishing, and event management.

Collarts offers students a variety of real-life industry experiences so that they are career-ready when they graduate. Through the university's industry partnerships with Falls Festival, Groovin the Moo, Melbourne Fashion Week, Ego Expo, and more, students have opportunities to apply their business and management studies in real-world situations.

Students can also partake in overseas exchange programs, scholarship opportunities at BIGSOUND and gain hands-on experience at an array of major festivals and events. They will also work closely with students from other courses to gain a well-rounded understanding of the business side of the entertainment industry.

Students will graduate with a well-rounded understanding of entertainment management, both in Australia and overseas.
