New Brunswick Community College - Saint John
Educational support workers are dedicated to ensuring that every child reaches their full potential. Graduates will work as part of a learning team to help students overcome academic, physical, or behavioural challenges they may face. Few other careers offer the kind of fulfillment that working with children in their formative years can provide. In this two-year Educational Support program, Graduates will learn to work with students with diverse learning needs. Through a combination of experiential and applied learning, they will gain the skills needed to plan, organize, and lead activities to help children develop intellectually, physically, and emotionally. This program will teach them how to manage behaviour and plan and modify educational programming to suit students with exceptional needs.
