Students in the Industrial Mechanical Millwright Technician program will gain the skills and ability to diagnose, install, and maintain plant machinery in a safe and systematic manner, with a high degree of efficiency.

In the College's millwright shop, students will gain hands-on experience working on industrial equipment as students learn to install, repair, and maintain complex industrial mechanical machinery in existing and new operations. In second year, students will build upon their electrical, mechanical, instrumentation, and computer-aided drafting skills while increasing their skills in troubleshooting and repairing industry equipment.
