Program Description If students have completed high school with good grades but don’t qualify for entry to an undergraduate degree, they could study an International Year One, which combines university preparation with degree 1st year. This BSc(Hons) Accounting is designed to immerse students in the core knowledge and skills they'll need to be a professional accountant. They'll build expertise in financial and management accounting and corporate finance, underpinned by principles of good governance and ethical decision-making. Students will learn from tutors and guest speakers with direct experience of the industry, and be inspired by teaching founded on real-world practices. UWE Bristol's audit simulation, developed with the profession, allows students to experience the audit process based on real cases. They'll have the opportunity to investigate global financial data through the industry-standard Bloomberg Trading Suite, and to develop workplace skills through internships, volunteering and placements.
