Overview
The full-time Analytical Sciences MSc is a research-focused degree.
Students will develop the experience and techniques required to be an independent practitioner of modern analytical science, with the skills required for research and by industry.
It delivers core teaching in advanced aspects of analytical chemistry and enables students to explore areas of specialist knowledge through optional modules.
Students will apply a wide range of analytical techniques and gain invaluable research experience through an extended research project.
Having developed the fundamentals of the analytical sciences, these core techniques are applied to disciplines including:
• Spectroscopy • Archaeometry • Materials characterisation • Separation science and mass spectrometry
