Overview
The Pre-Master's for Law and Social Sciences at Kaplan International College London is ideal for a postgraduate degree at university. The length of the course is determined mainly by the applicant's English language level.
All students will take a set of common or similar modules to gain key skills for university. They may also take extra modules focusing on one or more of the English language, academic skills and basic subject knowledge.
The Master of Arts in International Relations and Security provides graduates with a detailed understanding of the nature of the contemporary security agenda, its origins, theoretical foundations and future trajectory. They will examine the theories of international security and those key security issues that have dominated security discourse in the post-Cold War era. Students will also develop their analytical skills in order to facilitate understanding of the seminal contemporary security issues in a broader theoretical and historical framework.
