Urban landscapes are changing dramatically. Cities worldwide are implementing plans to maintain the vitality of metropolitan areas and make them attractive and sustainable to residents, business and tourism.
In studying this innovative combination of architecture and urban planning, students will consider how people use space across a diverse range of urban environments. They will examine the key challenges facing the industry and contemplate the solutions presented by some of the greatest architects and urban designers in the field.
Students will develop their cityscape architecture and planning skills and learn how to balance national trends, regional characteristics and local traditions. By the end of this urban landscape architecture course in London, they will have the know-how to create structures and spaces that meet a multitude of social, economic and ecological needs.
Throughout students’ undergraduate studies, they will build up a portfolio of work which showcases the breadth of their urban landscape architecture design skills.
