Program Description For students who hold a bachelor’s degree or equivalent, but don’t meet the entry requirements for a master’s, a Pre-Master’s can help them gain a place on a postgraduate degree. For progression to the 1st year of a postgraduate degree at City, University of London. The course length is determined mainly by English language level (UKVI IELTS score).
Students on all course lengths take a set of common or similar modules to gain a solid base of skills for university. If the course is longer than 2 terms, students will take additional modules designed to improve one or more of their English language level, academic skills, and basic knowledge of particular subjects.
Master of Laws - International Economic Law
The Master of Laws (LLM) in International Economic Law focuses on the international laws which underpin the broad functioning of the global economy across a range of legal fields. It consists of classic modules on World Trade Law and International Investment Law as well subjects such as International Tax, Competition and Energy Law.
The demand for graduates in this specialist field is growing rapidly given Brexit and the increasing global integration of regulation of economic activity as seen in the rise in free trade agreements, investment treaties and international energy agreements.
