What you will study

The International Foundation Programme – Arts and Humanities enables students to understand a range of areas. They will develop their communication and creative skills whilst taking specific modules relating to their further degree study.

The International Foundation Programme (IFP) is a level 3 foundation year that is an equivalent qualification to A levels. During students' programme they will develop subject-specific knowledge with a strong focus on improving their academic English language skills in preparation for studying at university.

Explore film from its silent beginnings through to CGI blockbusters, taking in avant-garde and international cinemas on students' way. They can tailor their studies, giving them the option to delve into film theory and history, or get hands-on and take advantage of our industry-standard facilities and equipment to create films and express their creativity.

The academics are practitioners and industry professionals, who can keep students in touch with a rapidly changing industry. The teaching is designed with employability at its heart.
