Master of Arts - Person-Centred Experiential Counselling and Psychotherapy

Person-centred experiential counselling and psychotherapy is a part of therapies based on humanistic-existential psychology. It enables individuals to acquire the necessary theoretical, professional, and personal skills for effective counselling practice.

Students will engage in a work placement as a counsellor, supported by a qualified practice educator to develop practical skills and grow as a counsellor. This course is suited for those aspiring to become person-centred experiential counsellors. It provides the necessary training hours for individual accreditation with the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy and prepares students for doctoral studies in counselling, psychotherapy, or related fields.
