Overview
The AI and Language Technology degree combines the societal impacts of AI with technical knowledge in human language technologies. It equips graduates to use evolving AI to analyze and produce language for social good, leveraging faculty expertise from Linguistics, Computer Science & Engineering, and AI & Society. You’ll study AI's relationship with society and foundational AI technologies to create tools for societal benefit. Following technical courses in calculus and computer science, you'll learn about language mechanics, differences, and AI's role in supporting language users. The program concludes with a capstone course addressing a real-world challenge, allowing you to apply your skills in a team setting.
