Bachelor of Science - Engineering - Civil Engineering (Years 1 & 2) transfer to Bachelor of Science - Engineering - Civil Engineering (Years 3 & 4 in Fredericton)

UNB Engineering students can begin their studies at the Saint John campus for the first two years except for select programs. Students in all other Engineering programs finish their last two years at the UNB Fredericton campus. Civil engineers design, construct and maintain all types of buildings and transportation systems. Design their future That’s an extensive list that includes office towers, highways, airports, canals, bridges, industrial plants, water and sewage treatment systems, hydroelectric developments and irrigation systems. Areas of specialization are: • structural • geotechnical • regional and municipal planning • transportation • construction and construction materials • sanitary and environmental and hydro electrical engineering
