What you will study

University Pathways Fast Track at RMIT UP is an accelerated pathway designed for high-achieving international students, preparing them for university in half the time of a Foundation Studies course. Delivered over one semester by RMIT UP (CRICOS provider number: 01912G), a fully owned entity of RMIT University, the program equips students with the knowledge, skills and confidence needed for future academic success.

Located in the heart of Melbourne, RMIT UP’s specialist staff support students throughout their journey, while providing opportunities to build global and social networks that contribute to success at RMIT and beyond.

To ensure students get the best start to their studies, RMIT offers careers counselling, as well as academic and welfare support services that can be accessed flexibly.

University Pathways Fast Track features focused, discipline-based streams, allowing students to align their studies with their interests and goals. Available streams include STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics), Art, Design and Architecture, Business, and Communication and Social Context.

Associate Degree - Engineering Technology (AD026) (079303K) The RMIT Associate Degree in Engineering equips students with broad theoretical and technical knowledge of fundamental engineering principles. The program develops the ability to analyse and interpret complex problems, communicate effectively with a range of stakeholders, and deliver practical solutions to industry challenges.

Students can choose from five majors—mechanical, aerospace, advanced manufacturing and mechatronics, electrical and electronics, or civil engineering—allowing them to specialise in their area of interest. Each major provides focused learning and practical skills to support career pathways within the chosen engineering discipline.
